Husky by Leisure Painter

for some reason my picture has been entered as pastel, but in actual fact it is a watercolour painting!!

Hi Anne It's not difficult to confuse your painting with pastel as it has such nice strong colours (not usually associated with watercolour!) you have depicted the fur texture really well and the colours used are well chosen, I particularly like the use of the bluey purple colour you have used on Max's lower chest area and your background colours complement your painting nicely. In the April issue with the 2nd part of this project, I show how to do the underdrawing easily using a fool-proof system even I can follow! Anna Pateman
