Nice painting. I've painted this (or versions of it) in both watercolour and in oils whilst on Jane's painting holidays to Lake Iseo (which was bliss!). Lovely painting region and Sensole is superb, especially with a sunset. The area has a glow and all the colours are quite strong - you've captured it well.

Roger Blackwell sent in his version of Jane's painting project saying: 'I felt that I should give more emphasis to the main building in the photo, reduce the large area of water and extend the landing stage. I added the extra mooring posts to give more dimension and colour. I chose to add sky in the right hand corner with some fluffy clouds. I added more colour to the olive trees and with "artistic licence" planted several cypress trees. The painting in acrylic on canvas board measure 12" x 8". This has been one of my favourite LP projects.'
