Top notch, Julia. Whilst the bird is very well done I think the feeder is best. Just enough detail to show what it is without being centre stage with too much detail. Well done.

Really excellent, Julia. I was flicking through the gallery and picked this one up as yours straight away. You really have a knack with animals and now it would seem birds as well. Love the undefined peanut holder and the background as well - just a suggestion of leaves.

Thank you everyone. I did enjoy painting this bird but have since darkened the background around his breast in order that he stands out a little more.
