Lovely line and wash painting Stephen. Artistic licence is always permitted, in fact used as you have enhances the subject. I do wonder if the work should have more depth of colour. Rich, vibrate greens in the foreground, reds and yellows used more for tiles and figures. This would make the cool blue greens to sit back in the distance. You do have a style so never change that Stephen. Please show us more on Painter Online.
