Characterful portrait, and I mean to take nothing at all away from the excellent painting of the flesh tones, eyes and hair by saying that what did make me envious of your ability was the way you've painted the lady's white cardigan; how many times do you see clothing either just indicated by slashes of paint (which can work) or as so intricately detailed that the eye tires of it... By the way, your surname is the same as that of an old headmistress of mine: please say you aren't related ..
