The Queen

This is super - I'm sure she'd love it!

This is a brilliant portrait! I have seen professional artists who have been commissioned to do portraits of the Queen and have not produced anything as good as this. I would definitely send a copy to Her Majesty. She is a great one for enterprise and would take it as a great compliment I am sure. Really well done!

Astonishing - nearly all portraits of the Queen go wrong around the mouth; Rolf Harris's did, although it was highly competent otherwise. This has got her.... and obviously, though only because I assume you didn't have an audience, from a photograph... but one would never have known.. The Queen, I believe, receives vast quantities of gifts, including very amateur portraits; but if there were a way of getting her to actually look at this, I think she'd be impressed. Do you have any idea how many people have tried painting her, and have missed the target? Lucian Freud made her look as though she were chewing a wasp....

This is an amazing piece of work, I really think you should send it to HRH. Is it watercolour? If so its a very difficut medium to get right - WELL DONE you.
