I find boats difficult to draw/paint but your picture is lovely - it captures the scene very well and the fishing boats look real. I love the bright colours too.

Yes, I get that feeling every ****** day just lately - despite the fact that I have files full of photographs and sketch-books full of drawings. Boats seem to be working for you - maybe I should give 'em a go. Otherwise, I'm going into hibernation until the Spring. Like your strong shadows.

I like this, a lovely choice of colours, and good textured foreground. The red boat on the right is particularly good. Yes, every day is a don't know what to paint day for me, sadly! You are obviously more disciplined.

Are there any other days than " I don't know what to paint" days? When I get one of those days I end up painting nothing....wish I could come up with something like this on one of my " I know what to paint" days! It's great Steven!

Beautifully done, super light and atmosphere.

Oh I like this!! could easily be Hastings beach except for the"E" reg.boats. It has a nice "airy" feel to it.

Do I ever? Every bloody day almost! You've come up with a great cure though. Love the shift in angle and perspective on the hulls...

This is great Steven.

Great picture and lovely colours used :)

I love your painting style. So loose and free. I am finding it hard to loosen up.My work can be very tight. Maybe you could give me a bit of advice Steven.
