The forground was inspired by one of David Bellamy's paintings. Theres a River where this brook appears...I painted a few with the river but feel the little brook gives it far more atmosphere.

You have painted it well, it does have a good atmosphere, I am also an admirer of David Bellamy's paintings, he is really in-touch with nature in all weather.

HI Steven, this is lovely..as all of your gallery loving the way you depict the water... looking so very wet. not an easy thing to do! i very much agree with you both about David Bellamy's paintings and am an ardent fan of his work. when feeling i was lacking in self belief ( as still am! ) i directl'y coppied a painting of his.. just to see if i could paint in his style and to prove, that if successfull...i couldn't be that bad. !! check out "Misty Morn" on my gallery. i would be very interested as to what you think? lovely gallery Steven there is so many wonderfull artists on here. regards irene.
