I have painted this scene many times but never quite got the atmosphere as I wanted. I always find that it's best to leave the project alone when this happens and revisit afresh. So after three attempts this is my final attempt. I wanted a sort of early morning misty effect, so a lot of the initial washes were wet in wet. Never painted this type before so I would welcome your views. It,s a "no tricks" watercolour 12 by 16ins approx
