Very nice work Pat, nice range of colours mixed from your limited pallete.. Which colours did you choose?

Thank you for writing Stephen. The base colours were Daler Rowney ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow, and brilliant red plus titanium white and black.

Lovely painting Pat, great combination of greens.

Super result just using the three colours Pat, especially the range of greens.

This shows so well what can be achieved with a restricted palette. You have created a really harmonious painting and I agree with Fiona about the greens.

Lovely painting Pat , great palette colours

Great piece Pat - a little presact (do you like that word? - one I made up) but none the worse for it - now ask me what presact mesns.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Michael, I do wonder about presact. Is it perhaps a combination of precise and exact?

Hey Pat, I've only just had chance to look at your portfolio, there's some really beautiful work and a lot of talent. Lovely stuff.

A really lovely painting, with super palette, composition and light.

This 30x40cm acrylic on canvas board was painted during our monthly art society meeting. Our task was to use just three colours plus black and white. The garden scene was inspired by Monet.
