Lovely detail in this painting, beautifully drawn, one to put on my list for cream teas!

Lovely scene - well painted Pat - a shame it's pushed down the page by a multi-poster

You are right about the scones - best cream tea ever! One of my favourite places. Lovely drawing too, thouhg my memories tell me that there is more shadow from the trees. None the less good drawing.

A drawing that conjures up peace and tranquility Pat- I can almost hear the water trickling around the rocks.

Linda you are quite right about there being more shadow from the trees. However I wanted it to be bright and cheerful. It looks good in print too. Thank you all for your kind comments.

Very nice Pat, especially the bridgework :)

Love the mix of mono & colour & the Moss effect

This drawing shows the bridge at Dartmeet. The cafe there at Badgers Halt serve the most delicious scones you can imagine. The drawing in coloured pencil belongs to a series of Westcountry landscapes on Hahnemuehle fine art paper. The metric size is about 21 x 15 cm (8x6in).
