Your stippling technique does give a lively effect to the leaves and branches and I like the balance of light and darks.

Thank you Robert, it takes a while to add layer after layer but the result is always gratifying. I also have to remember to use the right kind of brush.

Wittringen Watercastle offers a museum and restaurant in a wonderful park. There are several lakes with the castle on an island in one of them. The acrylic painting shows the autumn trees of the woods opposite reflecting in the water. Limited edition prints are available from my webspace www.landscapeart.org.uk/en
