I wonder why he feels the need to hide ... although I do it myself when I'm painting, to stop life getting in the way!

Lovely portrait of 'the writer' and guess he finds space when he hides away as also is quiet and he can reflect too! I like his gaze as one can see that he is in quiet reflection and there his thoughts can be expressed with ease.
