Thank you all for taking the time to give me feedback on this, gel plate printing is a great way of having a go at mono prints without the need for a press. Thanks Diana, I was unsure whether the red worked or not. .I'll take that as a yes😊

Inspired from a night time dog walk when a Blackbird was singing in the supermarket car park. This is one of 3 gel plate prints taken from the same plate, but experimenting with different colour. The embossed plate was made by drawing into damp 300 GSM paper with biro. Printed with acrylic paint with neocolour added when dry

Have always drawn, but for the past 5 years have been playing with colour and different media. I like to work quickly in an expressive way. Am happiest in Nature, and like to make quick plein-air sketches which I work up into larger pieces later. Trying to find my style at present.
