Nothing wrong with painting from photos if you took them as it's all about your eye & what you saw. I'm completely with you about sketching outdoors being private & shy too but I do a little when I can largely from my car ... small steps

Have returned after a bit of a battle, since last December, with a surprise brain tumour. Had surgery, just before lockdown, to remove the sizeable critter and now need to get back to a bit of painting. So start off with a bit of iPad painting to try and get in the swing of things.
