Smallish (9 x 6 inch) charcoal on wood of local woods near where I live. The little bridge always intrigues me because it goes nowhere, so it feels very much of a different time. I wanted to capture the old tangled magic of the undergrowth and I wanted to make it slightly reminiscent of the old Victorian photographs of fairies.
