Watercolour. I've been close to death a few times now. This is a vision of my death mask that came to me in a dream last night. What pleased me was that, even in death, I have a smile on my face.

I was born in 1946. In the 1960s and part of the 70s I was an airman in the Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm. I joined Durham Constabulary in 1971.
