I'm grateful for your encouragement Michael. We used to live in Haverfordwest and visited this area of Cardigan Bay quite a few times but I don't recall being at this beautiful beach.

I really like the abstract quality to this and all the different shapes, especially in the whole 2/3rds of the painting (the beach n water)- the foreground. The inks seems to work a bit like watercolor? The overlapping glazes of color is so attractive! Great job!

Thanks Nancy and Dennis. There is one mark I've accidentally left out which I will add today - a fishing rod. As it is, this is another one of my 'miraculous' paintings because the figures are literally walking on water! I have been surprised at just how drawing ink, with it's fluid application and vibrant colours and transparency, compliments my limited ability.

I was very surprised and pleased that I have managed to inspire someone else. I really like your loose style and the colours. The way you have dealt with the area between sea and sand is really good - its something I frequently struggle with. Just keep painting.

Apologies for late comment Michael but skipping through the pages on the gallery this stood out for me. Your work seems to have gone through a transition lately and I really like your emerging style.....especially the loose ones like this. Keep up the excellent work!
