Excellent Michael. Truth in the words, and the image has the far-away look of a man wrapped up in his own thoughts.

What a great poem and so well expressed as is the painting to go with it

I rather like your painting and poem combo’s Michael. I guess it’s an interesting way of expressing what’s behind the painting, which perhaps we don’t necessarily get.

Very thought provoking, Michael. The poem puts the thought process into the painting.

Thank you all for kind comments and encouragement.

I think the watercolour study is exceptionally good - love the strong colours !

Really love your words Michael, and you colour washed portrait goes exceptionally well with them.

This is lovely. The painting and your poem made me think of the old man in the song Streets of London.

The art work and poetry go very well together. Very well done on both parts.

Thank you Carole, Bobbie and Spencer.
