Queue Jumper
Watercolour. A man who pushed in while I was waiting in the queue at the Post Office the other day. I felt my temperature rise by several degrees and I took on a mild shake of anger. I always have to say something in these situations, I just cannot help myself. 'There's a queue here you know mate!' I shouted boldly. 'What's wrong with you?' he replied with a bolder stare and continued to push in. The next move would have required physical force and I didn't fancy my chances so I just tried to calm down and backed off. Another personal moral defeat as our society continues to plummet into greater moral decline. What's happened to respect and decency these days?
