Great theme glad it's not me , I did see some people looking down a drain once i think the car keys went down .

Thanks John. I'm encouraged.

Believable figure Michael, poor man!

Thanks Carole. Yes, how important is one to most people these days? A massive culture change.

Perhaps he's looking for that Pokemon thingy!!

Thanks Louise. He may have been until his 'phone fell down the drain.

I feel a series coming on about the adventures of this old gent. Sort of thing I could do these days!

Lol...now he'll be lost, and probably starve to death if the take-away numbers are all on his phone!! Brilliant figure Mick and I agree with Stephen this could be the beginning of a whole new series of sketches....'mishaps'.

Thanks Stephen and Fiona. Thanks for your ideas and encouragement.

Love this Michael - my regular mishap is " where are my bloody specs?"

I love your everyday adventures Michael!

Thanks Marjorie and Satu. I'll try some more if they're entertaining. What about some of that 'string' that holds them on your neck Marjorie? Garden twine works perfectly well, as does Elastoplast to repair them if they break. I charge nothing for advice.

😆 love it Michael, I know where to come next time I'm in trouble!

You're welcome any time Carole. Bring your stethoscope.

Another nice one - where on earth do you find the titles for these!!

I've got some of that "string" Michael. The rubbery bits are so thick they buckled the frames and I cracked them trying to straighten them. Lucky they weren't my good pair!

Two lovely figures, Michael.

Thanks Margaret, Marjorie and Cesare. There is a market here Marjorie. We need to invent the answer and then take it to Dragon's Den. I saw an image I liked the shape of, freehand sketched it with a black Stabilo fine 0.4 pen, washed it with watercolour, it looked okay so I thought, 'what is he looking at?' I recalled a girl about a year ago losing her 'phone down a drain in the road. She lifted the drain cover to try and recover it and actually stood inside it for some reason. She got stuck and the fire brigade had to attend to release her. There are other similar incidents which have been in the news. So, it becomes a social comment on our new technological culture Margaret.

Thanks and so are you Gudrun.

Oh, Well done, Michael. I am there with him!

Thanks Ruth. I hope this hasn't been your experience.
