I always played with my socks down. Nice

Nice with a touch of nostalgia. Yes Dennis, shin pads were for Aussies.

Thanks Dennis and Andre. I'm feeling nostalgic today. I'm 70. Now off to party. Looking forward to seeing grand-bairns. Have a good weekend.

Like this Michael....Happy Birthday! Hope you enjoyed your party :)

Thanks very much Sylvia. We had a great time.

Thanks if it is partly for me and yes very apt, although not those colours. Those were the days. All the best mate.

Thanks Derek. Yes, the colours. Those are Irish-like colours. Plenty of green at the convent primary school I went to and even more green at my next school which seemed to have a lot of Macs and O's. Big strong lads, and lasses, who looked like they could work forever in a field and would knock you over on the football field. I was a centre half and the sports master called me 'cart horse'. Very few got past me. I had a 'big boot' with no dribbling finesse - much like my art.
