What versatility. This is really lovely, and uplifting.

Thanks Gudrun. I love it. It's worth framing. Often the best results come from collaboration. Malcolm was the prime mover and teacher. He has two great virtues, artistic talent and kindness.

Wow, great effects and beautiful colours Michael.

Fantastic painting, Michael.

Thanks Carole and Lewis.

Nice one Michael.

Wow this looks marvellous Michael, certainly worth framing! Such super colours!

Thanks Margaret and Dennis.

That's lovely Michael, really good use of the colours and marks left by the cling film, sorry I didn't get time to comment on this yesterday but thought it was a great idea to start children off painting. Gives them great ideas and imagination.

Thanks Linda. It turned out well. I've learned something as well.

This is just wonderful Elle.....I hope you are going to frame it.

Thanks Fiona. I enjoyed doing it. If my grandad will give me the money I'll have it framed, or he might find a frame at the car boot. Grandad thinks your paintings are lush and I think they're cool.

I’m sure your granda will get it framed for you....something modern, in a shabby chic style would look great. Thank you very much for your very kind compliment Elle, you should do more paintings, I think you’re a natural.

Well done Elle- its looks really stunning.

Thanks Malcolm. Thanks to you.

Beautiful colours. Very atmospheric.

'Seagulls in a sea storm'. Watercolour by Elle McManus. Thanks for all your good ideas. She chose Peter Halil's suggestion. Peter knows these scenes, he was a Lighthouse Keeper for Trinity House when he retired from the Royal Navy. And thanks again, Malcolm Coils.
