The big boat looks like a Thames Barge, as a kid I used to watch them on the river near Greenwich...beautiful work horses. I like your painting, Michael, and with a little nostalgia thrown in it can't fail for me.

I was born in 1946. In the 1960s and part of the 70s I was an airman in the Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm. I joined Durham Constabulary in 1971.
