Thankyou Heather. Years ago I read a quote that a famous artist of yesteryear was alleged to have made. I cannot recall the name of the artist the quote was attributed too. However, he reputedly had a drawing that a potential buyer admired and asked if it was for sale. The artist quoted him a price and the buyer responded with the words, "How can you charge so much for a drawing that probably only took you fifteen minutes to do?" The artist responded with the words, "It might have only taken me fifteen minutes to do, however, it's taken me twenty years to learn to do it in fifteen minutes". A truism if ever, and something I think all aspiring artists should remember.
