I visited the small harbour at Aberdour, Fife on a warm, sunny morning. The light on the water was dazzling. In this scene, you look past a line of boats in the harbour, out to open water (the Firth of Forth). The wooded headland in the background with its broken pier has houses on it, including an old hotel.
