The day we visited this waterfall was magical. My son and I climbed down through the undergrowth, slipping and sliding and having the best adventure, only to come to this peaceful and beautiful place. We both stopped in our tracks and sat there for quite some time, tranquil and together. Falling Foss is the inspiration for this painting and it’s a stunning waterfall with a lovely orange pool of moorland water and trees growing all around.
