but you say you are not happy with how the Ark Royal turned out.................this means another picture is needed :-p

Excellent handling of coloured pencils. Not sure where you got the image to draw from, but I know one of these two pilots as a friend. "she" flew the penultimate takeoff and her boss flew the last plane off, then they did a flypast.

Thank you for the comment Crispian, how wonderful to know one of the pilots on such an historic occasion and for your friend to be able to say I was that pilot will give her after dinner conversation for years to come. There is no original image for the actual drawing the Ark Royal was from a photo of her going into Portsmouth on her final voyage. I new about the final flypast of the two Harriers so with artistic licence this was my vision of the occasion. In hindsight I now wish I had drawn it on A2 size in order to get more detail into the Ark Royal.. I hope I havent disappointed you too much. With best wishes Keith
