I'm glad I am not the only one to be inspired by strange things. There is a trailer on channel five which I think, subliminally, inspire my wood in pastels yesterday!

This painting is inspired by the image of the high energy particle tracks expected to be seen in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN when the Higg's boson is discovered this year, as anticipated. It is my entry to my art group's current competition on the theme of wonderful events in 2012. I don't expect to win. I think that they had the diamond jubilee and the Olympic Games in mind. It is painted in artists' oils on canvas. No medium.
