This painting is based upon two vases of flowers. I have composed it from the different flowers which were in the vases to make a new composition. It is painted on coarse black paper, which will take a lot of pastel. The colours were mixed where necessary on the painting. It's the first time for many years that I have been inspred to paint flowers.
