Clare College, University of Cambridge
This is Clare College from the backs, the more iconic view. Most of the painting is in pastel on Sennelier pastel board, using a variety of pastel techniques. The wrought iron gates and fence are in permanent ink on acetate sheet, which is placed over the pastel painting. The colours in the coat of arms and decorations are in acrylic paint on the acetate sheet.
