Abstract Poppies

Might be simple but very effective, I particularly like how you have done the leaves.

An absolute beauty Katy.

It really works well this technique Katy, I have used leaves in this way and it makes a really interesting background that doesn't distract from the flowers.

I thought this was another of your monoprint experiments Katy, it’s wonderful, love it. You can use leaves etc to do monoprints, using them as stencils as you have here.

Thank you Dixie, Carole and Linda for your interest, much appreciated. Thank you Fiona, it opens up a whole lot of possibilities with mono printing, I need to tidy up my studio and make some space!

Lovely use of lost and found edges. Love the layering, too, which creates depth.

Thank you, Seok. I kept this simple because I was pleased wit how it looked, it so easy to keep spraying and adding stencils and spoil it.

Beautiful, really like how you have done the leaves, so effective.
