Covered an old painting with gesso, painted the background in ink, didn’t like the tree at the end of the path so painted in acrylic Magpie and his trap with us on board from a photo taken from a holiday in Norfolk. It was quite an apt background because we did get lost on this holiday and hand to race home in the dusk with no lights! The map reader has yet to live it down.
