I’ve been out doing some forest bathing this last week. This watercolour and pen sketch was painted en plein air in Sherwood Pines forest, Nottinghamshire. The sweet chestnut trees had a golden glow which I was trying to capture, whilst watching squirrels hurrying about gathering the chestnuts, which were falling all around me.
