I think you have succeeded with creating a vibrant backdrop to the onions. Your recent still lives have a vibrant, modern feel to them, I think they would look well on the walls of a trendy Manchester bar / restaurant..

Looking through this inspirational series of watercolours makes me feel seriously temped to turn vegan - well, at least vegetarian. Only I suspect the food won't taste anything like as good as your renditions look. Ok, I'll have a steak for dinner, then think it over...

Your sense of colour is wonderful - so bold and assured. Your still life paintings are a joy.
