The 19th C outside "Launderette" in Entrecasteaux, Provence (Var), built alongside the Bresque river on a river bank 10 m below the village level, has a tendency of being washed away regularly, as Mademoiselle Bresque raises her fury in spring. Faithfully, and regularly, restored by the villagers it rarely lasts. This painting is done after many photos and sketches produced during my10 years of regular visits. I have no idea what it looks like today, 10 years after my last visit - but plan to revisit soon
