Tourtour Provence by Jorgen Faxholm

Well done Jorgen, you have managed to portray all the different blue-greens in this idyllic spot. Brings back many happy memories. And the umbrella pines are a challenge in themselves - wonderful shape and look so simple but are a devil to paint I find. Just one small question I wonder - perhaps a deeper (warmer?) shadow from the tree on the road would bring more balance to the composition, and frame the view ? Hope you don't mind my query, just my first reaction for what its worth.

Thanks Sharon - you have a very good point - at the moment the pic looks a little like watching the scene through a window - well, it's a window I wouldn't mind have when waking up in the morning!! Will see if I dare take on your suggestion ;-)

Hope it works out for you Jorgen. Advantage of acrylic is, I believe, you can always correct it if you don't like it. Thanks so much for your very kind comment on my gallery, such a nice thing to say.
