Without trekking through the wet garden to look at the label, I can't recall whether these are heleniums or rudbeckias. Whichever, I love their bright colours - they really help to lift the spirits on yet another grey morning! Artisan oils on Fabriano Tela paper (30x40 cm) using a palette knife.
