"Winter in Glen Clova"
Oil on board. Not very relevant to the season of the year bearing in mind the heatwave we are currently experiencing but I thought I`d hang this wintry view of one of my local Glens. The composition is all diagonals and the light is 'contre jour' which is one I search for when I`m looking for good reference material. The sheep in the bottom-left had to be added in as a micro-composition (great care has to be taken with little arrangements such as these so that they look 'natural'.
