Jonathan Mitchell

Biography

Jonathan Mitchell graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee in 1990 and has been painting full-time ever since. Throughout the past 30 years Jonathan has been exhibiting throughout the UK and his work is in private and corporate collections both here and overseas. Jonathan paints primarily landscapes and 'Cityscapes' inspired by his native Scotland as well as his travels to England, France and latterly Madeira. His paintings have been describe as being both 'detailed and atmospheric' evoking not just the visual appearance of the places he visits but also 'what it felt like to be there'.
