Estuary Cottage
Watercolour. Approx 12 x 15 inches. Not much in this picture. At the time I was experimenting with the effects of including little in the way of detail. All the same a friend liked it, so it went as a present. This is from the early 2000s. I wasn't unhappy with the lack of detail, as I had fun 'slapping' on the washes! It was a few days after completion that I realised I needed some 'lead-in' detail, and that was when I added the 'broken piles' to the left foreground.
