Lovely painting.

Beautiful and enchanting

This is excellent and lots to like about it.

Lovely watercolour John, I’m very fond of your watercolours.

Great feeling of space and lovely landscape gradations.

The artistic licence is sometimes necessary, you added that perfectly, John. Love the colours in the sky

Thank you all for your welcome comments. Marjorie, I make sure my artistic licence doesn't expire. Like a driving licence, it is so handy to have even without a car! Fiona, thank you again, but I have just started an oil on panel! Sorry!! :)

It was a few days after completion that I realised I needed some 'lead-in' detail, and that was when I added the 'broken piles' to the left foreground.
