We have a couple of these nesting locally - now and then they fly overhead, when they resemble a flying mattress: really quite huge. Seen in repose, they're beautiful and graceful, and this is a convincing sketch: I hope you'll have a crack at another, in more reliable ink: a crow quill would be rather appropriate!

Good suggestion John, the biro does tend to get “smudgy” Love your image of a flying mattress!
