Bewick’s Wren by John Kinsella

I was writing in my office when I noticed movement outside the window. A wren was sitting on the leaves of a rhododendron bush. He was fluffed up against the cold and was hopping and singing. I took a quick photo with my phone before he flew off. Blue biro on 12cm x 17cm sketch pad.
