Really good although am not a lover of slugs!

I’ve never heard of a banana slug, I’ll be looking for them now! I get the huge Leopard slugs…..I go out at night with my torch and collect them. In the morning I take them for a long walk! I can’t kill them. I really like the way you have placed the slug on its island of pebbles, sticks and other detritus.

Good to know there’s one another slug lover out there!

On a recent hike we saw this banana slug making its way across the path and watched until it made the safety of the undergrowth. They are quite magnificent in the wild, not so much if they are eating your cabbages. Pen and ink, coloured pencil on mixed media paper, 14cm x 22cm.
