Very appealing, a crisp little pink building amongst all that loose foliage. I like it.

Thanks Andrew and Martin, you’re both very kind considering this photo is awful! What was I thinking? Not sure how I can change it though 😳😳

I agree with Andrew, very nice indeed John

This is really good and so well painted.

Spencer, Heather and Dixie - a very big thank your for you continued generosity and positivity 😊🙏🏼🤗

Initially I thought - what’s wrong with the photo, then I realised! It detracts only a little from your painting because it’s very well painted, good tones etc as usual. We all do one of these ‘glare catchers’ occasionally. Onwards and upwards, don’t think you can change other than deleting and starting again which would obviously lose all your comments. 🤔

Thanks Tessa, yes I’m a wee bit disappointed I can’t put a better photo up… never mind. Maybe I should upload from the computer and not my tiny wee phone!!

Sounds and looks as though I missed a cracking day John. I’m glad all went well and everyone enjoyed the day, you’ve certainly had an excellent outcome.

Today I was painting en plein air with around twenty artists on the grounds of Castle Fraser. I’d painted the castle a fair bit so pointed my easel towards some gorgeous old buildings in the distance. I loved it today and look forward to organising more dates with this happy wee group.
