Nicely done John, don't think you need the backup.

I love the narrative behind this and it's a super painting too!

Stephen and Heather 🙏🏼you’re both so positive 😊😊

I love that “ vase” too, John. A man after me own heart!

A beautiful bunch of daisies and I love the sliced beetroot jar!

Love your very contemporary take on this John. I’m sure your wife must love it.

Very good, love that orange background.

You old romantic John! How lovely is that. Love the jar.

Marjorie, Spencer, Carole, Andrew and Tessa. All of you are far too generous. I’m happy to say my wife liked the painting but I still gave her the earrings 😜😜

Love the brushwork and the impasto, and the sentiment behind it. It's beautifully done.

Seok! Always so kind 🙏🏼 thanks for your comment 😊

It's a great painting - love the textures in the background and those highlights really make the glass jar.

Start of a great history with flowers? Lovely painting with texture and colour.

How lovely!

Thank you Coral, Shirley and Gary!! 🙏🏼 I’m sure this won’t be my last flower painting Sandra 😜😊😜

oh i love it! great colors - great painting!

Okay, so…. Me and flowers don’t have much history with eachother… but hear me out… I painted this for my wife as a gift for our wedding anniversary because I want her to always have flowers from me (I picked these daisies for her while out walking- the stone for this one is lapis lazuli. I got a tube of lapis lazuli, absolutely loved throwing cadmium orange around too. I framed it in gold leaf and ebony with my own hands… just in case it all went pear shaped, I bought some back up earrings too
