Harbour Buildings at Stonehaven

This is really well painted John .

I really like the way you apply paint John, always a great example of less is more

Great work.

A delightful study - full of light and activity!

Lovely light and simplicity, John. I can just sense how much you enjoyed doing this.

A super study John.

Dixie, Heather, Michael, Chris, Anne. Marjorie and Fiona - many thanks to you all for writing your comments. As always, I'm delighted you like the painting, it was a short study but lots of fun (Marjorie). The 'less is more' thing definitely seems to be integral to my paintings (Heather) and I totally love an excuse to add figures (Michael) so fingers crossed there will be more little studies like this to follow.
