April 2019: The ‘miracle’ of Notre Dame. The altar cross somehow remained intact after the devastating fire to offer hope to the French. I wouldn’t describe myself as a religious person, but I do believe in hope and that someone or something is out there looking out for us all. As we are all living through a troubled-time during this battle against COVID-19, I painted this in oils on a canvas covered piece of plywood, to get something out of my system.
