Lovely, lively water and good reflections. Very nice splash of red in the colour of the boat. Don't worrry about the name plate - artistic license allows all sorts of changes like this.

As Thea says loose, lively full of colour I would certainly go off for an ADVENTURE in her.

A lovely, colourful, little boat. There's lots of confidenceand looseness in the brush strokes now - it's very interesting to see how your pictures have evolved since your first posting back in 2007.Look foreward to seeing still more.

It looks very good...

Thanks to all for your kind comments. I have been trying to loosen-up a bit - it seems difficult knowing when to put the brushes down !

Wonderful cheery colors. It's like a robin singing against the summer sky. Love the gentle choppy feel of the waves, and your admirable play with the reflections.

Thanks for your comment ,Rod - (it's been an even more choppy sea down at the harbour today!)

We've been looking at all your lovely water colours, Jim, and we love them. I especially like this one but there are plenty more. I like the way you can click on a painting to have a good look - even the paper comes out beautifully!

W/C 5"x7". Based on a boat moored at local pontoon. The top plank carrying the nameplate should have been left white, but I went too far with the red. I was reluctant to "lift-out" the colour is case of staining.....
