Oh my word! I can't believe that this is such a small painting. It's such a huge image to me but I take your word for it :-) I love it. Thanks for including the palette notes. Hope you enjoy eating them now.

I think this is a little gem, and proof that it's not so much what you paint but how you paint it. This is beautifully and sensitively painted, and immediately caught my eye. The same applies to your landscapes.

Oil on gessoed panel 7 1/2'' x 5 1/2'' . The first of two little oils of onions that I did yesterday on rabbit glue gessoed panels. I used raw umber, burnt umber, alizarin crimson, buff titanium, naples yellow, white and the tiniest bit of ultramarine. Wondering now whether to do another or put them in the bolognese sauce!
